CLASSIC SPORTS DEN HEADLINES!!! BIG BILL BANNED!!!!

Airways Country Club, Suffield CT - Tapper's roommate, Big Bad Bill has been banned from the Men's League at The Airways Country Club due to his bad judgment.  The advertised golf outing Sunday 8/20, brought three foursomes to the Connecticut Country Club where Big Bad Bill plays in a men's league on Saturdays.  Bill had just coughed up his $100 dues as he used favors to pursue the owner to let the three foursomes tee off in succession.  The foursomes with Charlie (Hill Man) & Brian Decker brought play to a halt as we watched them stroke their way down the rough, side to side, yard by yard.  Finally we were out and play progressed (barely). The course rangers (teen age fags) began watching us pretty closely as we hit up the real cute beer girl time and again.  Ed bought the first couple of rounds and that got the ball rolling.  By the time we hit the turn the whole gang was quite loosened up.  On the back nine Norm was getting a little pooped and Ed began to ignore signs and ropes as he taxied Norm right to his ball (right up to the green -- right on to the tee box).  Well as I steadied for my putt on 17, the Greens keeper and the lady who owns the course were driving down the 18th fairway towards the tee box Ed & Norm had drove around ropes to get to.  The Greens keeper began yelling about 50 yards from the tee box. Ed wasn't going to put up with being yelled at so he laid into the two with some words of his own.  One quote I caught while trying to putt was "This place is a SHITHOLE".  Well the two left back up to the clubhouse -- owner practically in tears.  When the rest of us made it to the end of the 18th, Tapper and Big Bad Bill were there to tell us NOT to go into the club house and go straight home or they will call the cops.  This prompted Glen Howard (who was driving me) to try a little bumper car action, swerving through the parking lot and stopping at the car with a giant fish tail slide, as the other owner (husband) hung his head.  Meanwhile Ed made his way into the clubhouse, and was actually served a beer?, then proceeded to try and patch things up... Oh, the rage in their eyes. Well Norm laid some more on them before Big Bad Bill attempted an apology. When Bill finished, all I heard was DON'T COME BACK!!!!!
